Holder has developed a user-friendly and flexible travel platform that uses beautiful, inspiring images to give Sawadee a “face”, while being optimized for maximum conversion.
Sawadee! In Thailand, “sawadee” is a way of wishing someone a good day. In Holland, it’s a travel company that can introduce you to the most gorgeous places in the world. Before it came to Holder, Sawadee was hampered by an outdated website that limited conversion, and it knew it needed to turn its web presence around.
The company was ready to see its true message, personality and presence reflected online. Sawadee completed the end-to-end Holder journey, receiving support every step of the way.
During an inspiring brainstorm session, Holder mapped out all of Sawadee’s wishes. Our specialists pro-actively participated in the session, developing and optimizing new ideas. The outcome of this deep, collaborative work was a series of sprints.
From wireframes to working product
In the first visual prototype, Holder translated the user stories from the platform into wireframes. The layout of every page was optimized to increase engagement and conversion rates.
At first, Sawadee only wanted to improve the look and feel of the website. However, during the project, Holder developed several features, such as the fare calculator, that lifted the entire online product to a higher level.

With Holder you are always on the move
Once the e-commerce platform was developed, it was time for analysis. After all, the numbers are what tells the story. Several analytical tools are used to track platform performance, generating highly-valuable data. This data, together with the needs of the marketing team, were essential in optimizing the booking flow.
“During one of the workshops, we wrote out an entire flow with our project manager Brendan. We mapped out every single step a visitor takes. That way, we could determine the ideal booking and payment flow, keeping in mind user feedback”.
With its new platform, Sawadee has increased travel enquiries, the amount of organic visitors and its customer engagement.
